1. The Biacore 1K+ is a six-channel Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) system that can be operated individually, in pairs, or in series (as a group of 4 or 6).

2. The Biacore 1K+ features an innovative injection design enabling versatile assay configurations: Dual mode allows for buffer-sample injections and two-step injections; ABA mode enables three consecutive injections; Poly mode supports continuous serial injections; and the new "Inject and Elute" sample recovery function allows for the direct recovery of bound analytes from the sensor chip surface.

1. It enables interaction detection and analysis of various biomolecules, including proteins, small molecules, nucleic acids, membrane lipids, membrane proteins, and carbohydrates.

This function can be combined with techniques such as mass spectrometry to identify unknown interactors bound to target proteins or to identify active ingredients in traditional Chinese medicine, functioning as a "fishing" module.
