Specialized Services

The Isotope Core Facility provides technical support for experiments involving radioactive isotopes. Currently, it supports radiotracer studies using four types of exempt-level nuclides: ³H, ¹⁴C, ³²P, and ³⁵S. It enables tracer detection of isotope-labeled compounds at molecular, cellular, and tissue levels for applications such as drug development and metabolic pathway analysis. The facility is equipped with a laser scanning imager (Typhoon 5) and a liquid scintillation counter (MicroBeta 2) for qualitative and quantitative detection of α and β radiation in gels, plates, or solutions.

Hyun Wong，Graduated with a bachelor's degree from Zhongkai University of Agriculture and Engineering.Mainly responsible for providing technical support for the application of Liquid scintillation counter and Multispectral laser scanning imager in isotope experiments.

Responsible for radiation operation safety education and qualification training, laboratory radiation safety supervision and management.
