Welcome to SMART Core Facility
The Support & Service Platform is primarily responsible for archive management, fund management, equipment management, materials management, regulatory management, and shared services for animal experiments, ensuring the efficient and orderly operation of the Animal Experiment Center.
1.Archive Management: Responsible for collecting, organizing, and maintaining all animal experiment-related documentation, including approval documents and Experimental Animal Quality Certificates.
2. Equipment Management: Registers, maintains, and inspects all equipment in the Animal Experiment Center to ensure optimal working condition, and establishes equipment usage protocols. Provides training for operators to improve equipment usage efficiency and safety.
3. Materials Management: Manages the procurement, storage, and distribution of all materials required by the Center, including laboratory consumables, feed, and cleaning supplies. Maintains an inventory management system to monitor material usage in real time, replenish stock promptly, and prevent shortages. Tracks material usage to optimize procurement planning and reduce costs.
4. Regulatory Management: Participates in the development and updating of management policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the Animal Experiment Center to ensure regulatory compliance. Monitors policy implementation and addresses any violations.
5. Fund Management: Responsible for budget preparation and fund usage oversight to ensure rational allocation and effective utilization of funds. Tracks fund usage, conducts cost-benefit analysis, and assists with fund application and reimbursement processes to enhance transparency and compliance.
6. Shared Services: Provides internal resource-sharing services within the Center, including equipment sharing and information sharing, to improve resource utilization efficiency. Collects user feedback on a regular basis to optimize service processes and enhance service quality.
Through the above functions, the Support & Service Platform provides a solid foundation for the normal operation of the Animal Experiment Center, ensures the smooth conduct of experimental activities, and offers convenience and support to researchers, thereby promoting efficient advancement of scientific research.
Holds a Master's degree from South China Agricultural University. Primarily responsible forthe operational support of the Animal Experiment Center, including personnel file management, SOP and SMP administration, equipment and materials management, and center fee management. Serves as IACUC Secretary, participating in animal ethics review and management, animal experiments, quality monitoring, and personnel training.
